Dear Sir or Madam:

The Department of Rcvcnue isgued a state deed(s) to City of Edina in 2001 for a use approved by your county
board. Since the application for the deed stated that the property was for a public use, the property was conveyed to
you free of charge on the condition that the property would revert to the State of Minnesota if the property was not
put to the approved public use or if that use stopped. Minn. Stat 282.01, subd ld.
We are required to update our rds by checking with you to see if this parcel(s) is being used as originally
proposed. An enclosed form c ntains a description of the parcel(s) acquired by City of Edina. Please complete this
form by filling in the use(s) of 1be property or by indicating its non -use, sign and return it to us within 90 days using
the address below.
If it is no longer or has never been used for the purpose it was acquired, please complete the form SD Form 975
completing the formality of the rcconvcyance of the property back to the state. This also applies to any portion of
the property not used for the acquired purpose. You have the option of requesting to purchase the property from the
county after die reconveyance.
I have enclosed SD Fdrms 975 (complete reeonveyance) and 976 (partial reeonveyance) for your convenience.
Farm PT80 (purchase) can be provided by your county auditor after the reconveyancc.
If we do not hear from you within 90 days, the Dcpartinent of Revenue will assume that the land is not being put to
the approved public use.
