Edina Art Center Offers ‘Up North Holiday Gift Sale’
Edina, Minn., Nov. 5, 2014 – “Gifts in the Gallery - Up North” is under way at the Edina Art Center and
runs through Dec. 23.
For the holidays, the Art Center displays one-of-a-kind, handmade, carefully selected gifts with an “Up North”
theme. Upon entering the gallery, shoppers will feel like they walked into a cabin up north. Think comfy lodge,
warm earthen colors, natural textures – combined with holiday inspired fibers, materials and imagery – all to
create beautiful artwork and gifts for the holidays. Selections include original pottery, glass, paintings, metal
jewelry, hand-woven scarves, ornaments, wearable art, photography and much more! The variety of work will
changes throughout the six weeks of the show.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday. There will be an open house 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, where shoppers can meet the
artists, shop and enjoy a mug of holiday spiced cider!
