Residents encouraged to complete online Vision Edina survey
Edina, Minn., Nov. 18, 2014 – In order to get more feedback on the City’s future visioning project, Vision
Edina, the City of Edina is now offering an online workshop for those unable to attend a meeting.
“We know that attending a formal meeting can be challenging for some residents, especially with today’s busy
schedules,” said Assistant City Manager Karen Kurt. “We are hoping the online option of the Vison Edina
survey will broaden our base of community input and help us reach some groups that are traditionally
underrepresented at meetings.”
Online participants will watch a15-minute video of the Vision Edina workshop and complete the survey to
provide their input.
For those who would prefer to attend a meeting, the City has added two public workshops to be held in
December:
1:30-3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11 at the Southdale-Hennepin Area Library, Helen Young Room
7-8:30 p.m., Thursday Dec. 11 at the Edina Senior Center
During these sessions, participants will work in large and small groups, hear about the four future scenarios
and provide feedback.
