Statement on Attempted Carjacking Thursday
Edina, Minn., Dec. 9, 2021— At 5:01 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, Edina Police Officers were dispatched to Lunds and Byerlys at 3945 W. 50th St. for a carjacking in progress.
Four juvenile males attempted to take an occupied vehicle when two Good Samaritans attempted to help.
Three parties were injured in the incident, one seriously and transported to North Memorial Hospital in serious but stable condition. Suspects all fled the area.
