People can bring their own skates or rent ones to glide under the bridges and across the picturesque 10-acre lake. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces provide great spots to warm up or watch all the fun. Enjoy music from a DJ or take a trolley ride. As a special treat, mini donuts will be sold at the event. Skating and admission to the festival are free. Centennial Lakes Park is located at 7499 France Ave. S., with plenty of free parking located near Hughes Pavilion. Skate rental is $8 per pair or rent a kick sled for $8 per hour. Rentals and concessions are available inside Hughes Pavilion. Please wear a mask inside the pavilion. This popular event is in its 31st year, after skipping 2021 due to COVID-19. Can’t make it on Sunday? Skating is open noon-9:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Mini donuts will be available to purchase on Saturday and Sunday.
