RESOLUTION NO. 2022-43 VACATING STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT WATERMAN AVENUE WHEREAS, an application was received on March 25, 2022 from Interlachen Country Club of 6200 Interlachen Boulevard, dedicated in the plat of Auditor's Subdivision No. 248, requesting that the Waterman Avenue street right-of- way be vacated; and WHEREAS, two weeks published and posted notice was given and the hearing was held on May 4, 2022, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the right-of-way is not needed for public purposes; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota: I, That the following described right-of-way Is hereby vacated: That part of Waterman Avenue as dedicated in the plats of MENDELSSOHN, MENDELSSOHN-SORENSEN REPLAT and MIRROR LAKE VIEW, all in Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies within the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 117, Range 121, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and which lies westerly of the southerly extension of the easterly line of Block 23, said plat of MENDELSSOHN and which lies easterly of the following described "Line A": Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 2, Block I, MENDELSSOHN-SORENSEN REP LAT, Hennepin County, Minnesota; hence North 89 degrees 2 minutes 07 seconds West (assumed bearing) along the south line of said Lot 2 a distance of 55.41 feet to the point of beginning of said "Line A"; thence South 00 degrees 37 minutes 53 seconds West 50.00 feet to the north line of lot 3, Block I, MIRROR LAKE VIEW, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and said "Line A" there terminating.
