Bring Your Pup to Inaugural Dog Days of Summer ‘Pawty’
Edina, Minn., July 20, 2022 – Grab those leashes and bring the dog - or the whole pack - to the inaugural Dog Days of Summer “Pawty” Saturday, Aug. 6, at Van Valkenburg Park, 4935 Lincoln
Drive.
The free party runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. People and their well-behaved pooches can meet numerous dog-related vendors offering raw foods, specialty treats, blankets, pet portraits,
pet care services and more.
Rescue groups and fosters also will be on hand. The party includes activities, a food truck for people and, of course, dog goodies.
Van Valkenburg is home to the City’s fully fenced off-leash dog area. Party guests are welcome to try out the park during the event, as long as their pooch is licensed. At all other
times, an off-leash collar is required for the dog park and can be purchased at EdinaMN.gov/OffLeashPermit.
