City, Edina Magazine Honor Photo Contest Winners
Edina, Minn., Oct. 21, 2022 – Vicki Hurwitz took top honors in the 2022 “Images of Edina” photo contest sponsored by the City of Edina and Edina Magazine.
Winners of the annual photo contest were honored at the Oct. 6 Edina City Council meeting.
Photos entered were taken between June 2021 and June 2022 and were entered into one of five categories. Edina Magazine readers voted online to choose the “Readers’ Choice” award. One
overall “Best In Show” winner was chosen. The winners of the 2022 Images of Edina contest are:
Business – “RH Light” by Nancy Fergesen
People – “Dry Dock Repair” by Hurwitz
Activities & Events – “Soccer Sunset” by Leah Steidl
Places in Edina – “Library Day” by Rebecca Peterson
Plants & Animals – “Surprise!” by Judy Fulk
Readers’ Choice – “Library Day” by Peterson
Best in Show – “Dry Dock Repair” by Hurwitz
The contest is free to enter and is open to both amateur and professional photographers who reside, work or attend school in Edina. Winners receive a plaque and gift card to an area
business. Their work is also displayed at Edina City Hall for two years.
The 2023 Images of Edina photo contest, sponsored by the City and Edina Magazine, will open for entries in Spring 2023.
