Walk With the Mayor Scheduled for Nov. 19
Edina, Minn., Nov. 19, 2022 – The November Walk With the Mayor is scheduled for 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Southdale Center.
Participating in the Walk with the Mayor gives community members a chance to voice concerns, share opinions and thoughts as well as just talk with Mayor Jim Hovland while getting to
know the city a little bit better. No prior registration is required to attend Walk With the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time to walk and talk with Hovland.
Hovland invites residents to participate. “Please join me for our first indoor walk of the season at the Southdale Center mall,” he said. “Get a cup of coffee at the Caribou kiosk in
the center courtyard and we will have a nice walk with good conversation -- and get a little exercise, too! Some of you may be able to do some holiday window shopping as well!”
Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and meet in Center Court of the mall near Caribou Coffee. For more information or to suggest a location for a future walk, contact
