Outdoor ice rinks close for the season
Edina, Minn., Feb. 27, 2013 – After a great season, the City of Edina’s outdoor ice skating rinks have
closed for the season. Lost-and-found items should be picked up before March 22.
The City maintains 12 outdoor ice skating rinks. Rinks are at Arden, Centennial Lakes, Cornelia School,
Creek Valley, Highlands, Lewis, Normandale, Pamela, Strachauer, Todd, Walnut Ridge and Weber parks.
Articles in the Lost and Found at each neighborhood park's warming house were taken to Edina City Hall,
4801 W. 50th St., where they should be claimed before March 22, after which time they will be donated to a
charity. Items left at Centennial Lakes Park, 7499 France Ave. S., should be picked up there.
