The Art Center Board, Community Health Committee, Energy & Environment Commission, Heritage Preservation Board, Human Rights & Relations Commission, Park Board, Planning Commission and Transportation Commission have student members. Students serve as non-voting members with one-year terms. Applicants are reminded that City ordinances require faithful attendance at board and commission meetings. Students are urged to consider the time commitment for board and commission service when applying for an appointment. To receive an application or for more information, visit the City’s website, www.EdinaMN.gov, or contact City Clerk Debra Mangen, 952-826-0408. Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 31. Applicants must be available to be interviewed between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 10; 4 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13; or 1 and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19. The Council will make the appointments before the start of the 2013-2014 school year, as the terms begin Sept. 1. -30-
