Edina Aquatic Center to Host ‘The Amazing Spiderman
Pool Party’
Edina, Minn., June 28, 2012 – In advance of one of the summer’s most anticipated movie releases, the
Edina Aquatic Center will host “The Amazing Spiderman Pool Party” from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30.
Area children will have the chance to participate in a variety of superhero-themed pool and deck games.
Highlights will include a zip line contest, relay race, team dive stick challenge, and “pin the spider on the web,”
a variation on “pin the tail on the donkey.”
Prizes will include Spiderman posters, T-shirts, hats and other merchandise. A limited supply of free passes to
the movie, which will debut in theatres Tuesday, July 3, will also be awarded.
“The Amazing Spiderman Pool Party” is open to the public and will require an entrance fee.
The Edina Aquatic Center is located in Rosland Park at 4300 W. 66th St.
