City Slick was redesigned in 2011. “We are proud that our newly redesigned employee newsletter has received such high praise from the National Association of Government Communications,” said Jennifer Bennerotte, Communications & Technology Services Director. “Employee communications are important to keeping up morale and camaraderie in the workplace. Our department is constantly working to add new features to the publication to keep it interesting and informative for our co-workers.” To attract more viewers to the local government access channel, on Oct. 31, 2011, the Communications & Technology Services Department played more than 16 hours of classic Halloween films on Edina Community Channel 16 (EDINA 16). Between movies, interstitial programming about the regular EDINA 16 line-up was aired.
