Edina Art Center’s annual gift sale begins Nov. 8
Edina, Minn., Nov. 5, 2012 – Are you looking for unique gifts for your family and friends? Would you like
an opportunity to support the fabulous programs at the Edina Art Center and support your local artists at the
same time? Stop by and shop!
The Edina Art Center’s annual “Gifts! Gifts! Gifts!” sale features one-of-a-kind gifts handcrafted by more than
50 regional and international artists. Featured works of art include an assortment of pottery, unique jewelry,
art kits, cozy knitted wearables, hand-decorated ornaments, children’s items, books, original cards and more.
Merchandise will change often, so stop in frequently.
The sale begins Nov. 8 and continues through Dec. 24. On Saturday, Dec. 1, a festive event is planned for 9
a.m. to 1p.m. and will include local artists who will be on hand to meet, greet and demonstrate. The public is
invited to stop by to shop, meet artists, learn about their work and try some warm cider and cookies.
Located one mile west of Southdale Center in Rosland Park, the Edina Art Center, 4701 W. 64th St., provides
the community with a place to enjoy art and a chance to learn how to create it. The Art Center is open 9
a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Edina
Art Center will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 24. For more information on the Art Center or its offerings,
