Local officials to present ‘big ideas’ at annual State of the
Community
Edina, Minn., April 8, 2011 – Edina Mayor James B. Hovland, City Manager Scott H. Neal and
Edina Public Schools Superintendent Ric Dressen will present the “2011 State of the Community”
later this month.
The men will speak about current affairs in Edina and share ideas for improving and enhancing City and
school district operations and their partnerships.
The State of the Community will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Interlachen Country
Club, 6200 Interlachen Country Club. Registration begins at 11 a.m. The luncheon event is open to
the public. Cost for lunch is $25 per person. There will be some seating for those who wish to attend,
but do not want to eat.
The speech will later be broadcast on Edina Community Channel 16.
