RESOLUTION NO. 2023-41
ACCEPTING DONATIONS ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF EDINA
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 allows cities to accept grants and donations of real or personal
property for the benefit of its citizens;
WHEREAS, said donations must be accepted via a resolution of the Council adopted by a two thirds
majority of its members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Edina City Council accepts with sincere
appreciation the following listed grants and donations on behalf of its citizens.
Edina Senior Center
Home Instead Four Dozen Donuts National Donut Day – June 2
Sara Springmeyer $25.00 General Use
Centennial Lakes
David & Martha Williams $3,200 Bench at Centennial Lakes Park
Dennis Schulstad $10,000 Landscaping, Flowers and Maintenance
Juneteenth
Friends of the Edina Library $1,500 Purchase Books for Juneteenth
Rotary Club of Edina $609.00 100 Children’s Books for Juneteenth
