Applications being accepted for appointment to Art Center
Board, Heritage Preservation Board
Edina, Minn., May 20, 2011 – The Edina City Council is accepting applications for appointments to
the Art Center and Heritage Preservation boards.
The Art Center Board has one vacancy. The group typically meets at 4:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of
the month. The Board develops and reviews plans for the development of the Edina Art Center and
makes recommendations to the City Council concerning art activities and programs.
The Heritage Preservation Board also has one vacancy. It typically meets at 7 p.m. the second
Tuesday of the month. The 11-member Board advises the City Council on matters relating to
heritage and cultural resource preservation, management and education.

p.m. Friday, June 10.
The two appointments must be approved by the Edina City Council. Appointments will be made in
June or July.
