City Manager to form Communications Advisory
Committee
Edina, Minn., May 4, 2011 – Edina City Manager Scott H. Neal is working to form a Communications
Advisory Committee and seeks community participation.
The Committee will meet at least twice per year to provide feedback and suggestions to the City Manager on the
City's efforts to effectively communicate with the public about the activities of local government. The Committee
will also provide suggestions on how the City could be more effective in soliciting and processing input and feedback
from people regarding the operations and policies of city government. The Committee will be advisory to the City
Manager, not the City Council.
Those interested in participating should send their name, address, contact information and a one-paragraph
description of why they want to be part of the committee to Neal before 4:30 p.m. May 20. Information can be
sent to edinamail@ci.edina.mn.us or mailed to Neal at Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., Edina, MN 55424.
Neal will appoint the Committee members, who will first meet in late June.
