Centennial Lakes Park offers summer fishing clinics
Edina, Minn., May, 17, 2011 – Edina’s Centennial Lakes Park will offer summer fishing clinics
for children ages 6 and older to learn about the art of angling.
Participants will play interactive games, get their hands dirty handling bait and have the
opportunity to catch a fish.
“Even if they have fished many times before, kids always seem to bring away something new
from their clinic experience,” said Tom Shirley, Centennial Lakes Park Manager.
Clinics will be held 9 a.m. to noon Mondays June 13, July 11 and Aug. 15 at Centennial Lakes
Park, 7499 France Ave. S.
The cost is $10 per child per clinic. Spots may be reserved online at
www.CityofEdina.com/Store or in person at Centennial Lakes Park.
