Transit Link dial-a-ride service to be introduced at Feb. 5
meeting
Edina, Minn., Jan. 14, 2010 – Transit Link will replace Edina Dial-a-Ride this winter. Learn more
about the transition and other transit options in Edina at a meeting Friday, Feb. 5.
At the meeting, staff from the Metropolitan Council’s Transit Link Program and Metro Transit’s
Customer Service department will provide information about transit options in the area, including
regular Metro Transit routes and the new Transit Link dial-a-ride service. In addition to providing an
overview of transit options, the presenters will answer questions about the dial-a-ride service and
how it coordinates with regular transit routes. Transit Link will honor scheduled Edina Dial-a-Ride
rides through July.
The session will be held in the Meeting Room at the Southdale-Hennepin Area Library in Edina,
beginning at 10:30 a.m. Brochures and other information will also be available at the event.
