The meeting is for anyone who is a leader in their neighborhood or interested in forming a neighborhood association. At the casual gathering at the park shelter near the playground, attendees will share ideas, successes and challenges of organizing a neighborhood. Lamon will also share information about the City’s process to formally recognize a neighborhood association. “This meeting is for everyone – anyone interested in meeting fellow neighborhood leaders, anyone who wants to learn from others in the community, anyone wanting to learn more about getting their neighborhood organized!” Lamon said. “This is a time for people to meet or reconnect with me, meet other friends in the community, exchange contact information and more.” Representatives of the Concord, Creek Knoll, Morningside, Parkwood Knolls, Rolling Green, South Cornelia, Strachauer and Strachauer Park neighborhoods have already registered.
