RESOLUTION NO. 2023-63
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE
BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF EDINA FOR YEAR 2024,
AND ESTABLISHING THE PROPOSED
TAX LEVY PAYABLE IN 2024
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDINA, MINNESOTA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Budgets for all Governmental Funds as shown on Attachment A for the City of Edina for the calendar
year 2024 is hereby adopted and funds are hereby appropriated;
Section 2. The Budgets for all Enterprise Funds as shown on Attachment B for the City of Edina for the calendar year
2024 is hereby adopted and funds are hereby appropriated;
Section 3. That there will be levied upon all taxable real and personal property in the City of Edina, a tax rate
sufficient to produce the amount as follows:
FOR GENERAL FUND $43,831,665
FOR CONSTRUCTION FUND $6,951,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF CIP PLAN BONDS — SERIES 20I6A (Fire) $403,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF CIP PLAN BONDS — SERIES 20I7C (PW) $1,098,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF CIP PLAN BONDS — SERIES 20I3A (PW) $410,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF HRA PUBLIC PROJECT BONDS — SERIES 2014 (Dome) $1,168,700
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF HRA PUBLIC PROJECT BONDS — SERIES 20I5A (Gym) $392,000
TOTAL TAX CAPACITY LEVY $54,254,365
Section 4. That the preliminary 2023 budget for the City of Edina is as follows:
TOTAL REVENUES — GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS $93,312,709
TOTAL EXPENDITURES — GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS $107,863,155
TOTAL REVENUES — ENTERPRISE FUNDS $60,100,828
TOTAL EXPENDITURES — ENTERPRISE FUNDS $72,701,892
TOTAL REVENUES — INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS $ 9,694,421
TOTAL EXPENDITURES — INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS $ 9,195,377
Section 5. That the final 2024 budget and tax levy incorporates revisions e cheduled levy for the Series
20 I 9A General Obligatiop Bonds (Fire Equipment) due to sufficient fund a ab to pay the required debt service
