Faculty Exhibition to open at Edina Art Center
Edina, Minn., Dec. 14, 2009 – Once a year, more than 50 artists who teach at the Edina Art
Center are invited to exhibit a sampling of their creations. The Faculty Exhibition will open at the
Edina Art Center Thursday, Jan. 14. The public is invited to attend the opening reception from 5 to
8 p.m.
Artwork includes drawings, paintings, pottery, jewelry, glass, mosaic artwork, sculpture,
photography, media arts and more. Many of the works will be available for sale.
The show is an excellent way for potential students to view instructors’ work.
The Faculty Exhibition will continue through Feb. 23.
The Edina Art Center, 4701 W. 64th St., provides the community with a place to enjoy art and a
chance to learn how to create it. The Art Center is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through
Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call the
