Walk With the Mayor to be Held Dec. 16
Edina, Minn., Dec. 4, 2023 - This month’s Walk with the Mayor will take place 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Galleria, 69th Street and France Avenue. The walk will begin by Starbucks
and Cov on the east side of the mall.
Members of the community are welcome to walk alongside Mayor Jim Hovland and talk about all things Edina.
“Please join me for a stroll through the hallways of The Galleria, one of the nicest small shopping centers in America. It will be highly decorated for the holiday season and I am sure
the store fronts will be beautifully done as well,” he said. “We might even have time to go to the Westin hotel to see the wonderful Alpine Village they have created for the winter
season.”
No prior registration is required to attend the Walk with the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time to walk and talk with Hovland. Participants should wear comfortable
walking shoes and meet just inside the doors to the mall.
