• Draft Initiative 1: use terminology for planning and implementation of prototyped
activities, not events; plan for expenses for a website, podcast, marketing, and tech
support; Lead Commissioners are DiLorenzo and Konkimalla
• Draft Initiative 2: goal is to provide a measure of the impact of prototyped projects to
the City; discussed techniques to be used to obtain access and engagement feedback
following prototyped projects; discussed the scope of that feedback to ensure
inclusion; Lead Commissioners are Rubin and Isaacs.
• Draft Initiative 3: draft initiative was removed; rubric should be used as approved
• Draft Initiative 4: Commissioners agreed with this initiative on developing a
recommendation for ACC inclusion in public and private City developments and on
public art; Lead Commissioners are Sorenson and Rubin
• Draft Initiative 5: this draft initiative was removed; discussed whether this was staff or
Commission work; determined that staff should set the criteria for maintenance/repair
and implement necessary work; suggested maintenance should be a priority
• Parking Lot item: Commissioners discussed the need for the ACC to be part of on-
going discussions about a new/leased Art Center facility as well the evolution of art
programming and delivery methods offered by the City; requested the addition of an
initiative for this item; Lead Commissioners are Suckow and Chandler
B. Update on 2020 Workplan Initiative – Public Art
• The project, Art as Healing, will include a website and podcast series in collaboration with the
