ACCEPTING BUSINESS DISTRICT INITIATIVE GRANT AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Edina has applied for and received a $35,000 grant under
Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority's Business District Initiative (BDI)
program to supplement local funds intended to improve customer wayfinding in the 50th & France
Commercial District; and
WHEREAS, said grant must be accepted via a resolution of the Council adopted by a
two thirds majority of its members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Edina City Council hereby
accepts Grant Contract No. PR00005745 and authorizes and direct• he Mayor to sign the grant
agreement on its behalf.
