I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 a.m.
II. APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 22, 1991 MINUTES
Ms. Dege changed her statement in Sec. A of the minutes.
She noted that when she turned in her membership dues
late, the membership was begun again from the date of receipt,
thus giving her a free membership for two months. She
suggested the renewal letter be revised to indicate continuing
membership. The EAC is losing money if they do this for
others.
Ms. Paul remarked that she had also attended the reception for
Jane Riffey.
Peter R. Spokes MOVED TO APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 22 MINUTES.
Don Peddie SECONDED THE MOTION. MINUTES APPROVED.
III. DIRECTOR'S REPORT
A. Arti Gras - Mr. Spokes commented that the Edina Art Center
does not have the number of volunteers that the Federated
Women's Club has to work on Arti Gras. Ms. Hedges said
that the Art Center will make up for the number of people
working by helping in other areas. She also asked for
someone to head the steering committee for EAC.
Mr. Spokes asked that the dates for mailing, etc.,
should be firm soon. As Hedges stated with the approval
of Mary Nelson that the January dates would be as written.
Ms. Paul and Ms. Dege volunteered to help with the mailing.

the tour will definitely take place.
Finances
Mr. Spokes asked about the financial statement. Ms. Hedges
commented that we are still in a deficit situation. Mr.

those people targeted for Arti Gras. He asked that he and
Ms. Hedges meet on that proposal before the next meeting.
