A. "Celebrate the Arts" Happy Birthday - March 20
Ms. Hedges reported that they are looking for
Chairpersons for the different committees. Peter R.
Spokes inquired about the sale of liquor at the
Celebrate the Arts, if the Edina Foundation does not
use their liquor permit in 1993. Mr. Kojetin stated
that there are guidelines to be followed such as
permission from the City Council to "transfer" the
permit. Permission from the Edina Foundation to use
that liquor license for the liquor sale at the
Celebrate the Arts. Mr. Kojetin stated he would check
with the City to see if it is permissible or if it can
be done. Jim VanValkenburg stated he would check on
the workings of this too.
B. All City, Volunteer Awards - April 21
Ms. Hedges discussed the notice about the Volunteer
Awards and three individuals to consider: Mickey Smith,
Suzie Kelm, and Dianne Farber. Jim VanValkenburg
recommended nominating all three. Also, recommended
recognizing them at the reception and submit them for
the Mayors Award.

have been distributed to publicize the upcoming
classes. There was discussion on where to locate
publicity. A suggestion to post flyers at the liquor

to art centers at neighboring communities. In addition
to the membership at the Edina Center and its current
growth.

Membership graph shows a growth in membership in the
