City of Edina honored by MAGC
Edina, Minn., May 27, 2005 –The Minnesota Association of Government Communicators
(MAGC) May 25 presented the City of Edina with three awards.
“Introducing Edina’s New City Hall,” a brochure about the new building and walking tour guide, was
selected for an Award of Excellence in MAGC’s annual Northern Lights Awards competition. Also
recognized in the “promotional or informational brochures or pamphlets” category of the
competition was the Planning Department’s two-color brochure on new residential fencing
regulations. That brochure received a second-place Award of Merit. Photographer Polly Norman’s
shot of Santa visiting with a young girl at Southdale Center received an Award of Merit in the
“photography” category.
