Edinborough Park to host Midwinter Beach
Party
Edina, Minn., Jan. 12, 2004 – The City of Edina’s Edinborough Park will turn up the heat on
winter fun with a Midwinter Beach Party noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31.
Edina’s indoor park, 7700 York Ave. S., will host a variety of upbeat musicians and artists, ready to
provide summertime entertainment for families and kids of all ages. Wonderful World of Woody will
perform at 1 p.m. Bob the Beachcomber will round out the day’s entertainment with a 3 p.m.
performance.
Children can play in a giant indoor sandbox or an inflatable jumper. From 2 to 4 p.m., Brian
Gilbertson will make balloon sculptures for children. For a small fee, children can also have their
faces painted.
Playpark admission fees apply to all lower level activities for the Midwinter Beach Party. The daily
fee for the playpark is $4 for residents and $5 for non-residents. For more information, call 952-
