Staying safe in your car saves money
Edina, Minn., April 20, 2005 – Senior drivers can renew insurance discounts by taking summer defensive
driving courses at the Edina Senior Center.
Anyone who receives a 10 percent three-year car insurance reduction for completing the National Safety Council’s
eight-hour defensive driving course can renew their discount by taking a four-hour refresher course at the Edina
Senior Center, 5280 Grandview Square.
Courses will be held in the Center’s Sherwood Room June 7, July 14 and Aug. 9, from 12:15 to 4:15 p.m., and only
one session is required. The cost is $20. Class size is limited.
Those who wish to sign up should include their driver’s license numbers and dates of birth with checks made
payable to the Edina Senior Center. The information should be mailed or brought to the Edina Senior Center, 5280
