Edina Senior Center presents Adventure Slide Series
Edina, Minn., April 8, 2003 – Photographer Richard Kain will present slides of Nepal at the Edina
Senior Center on Friday, April 18, at 1 p.m. Kain, who has given presentations in Edina in the past, will
provide commentary during the program. Among the photos to be presented are: Mt. Everest, Sherpas,
Mani Stones, Yaks and much more. The Nepal slide show is free and open to the public.
With 1,500 members and a variety of activities, the Edina Senior Center offers something for everyone
55 and older. Among the recreational activities offered by the Senior Center are cards, creative writing,
exercise, defensive driving, line dancing and whittling. Health-related programs include blood pressure
checks, hearing tests, podiatrist appointments, vaccination clinics and health seminars. For more
