The Edina Senior Center to host Nine-ball Pool Tournament
Edina, Minn., April 8, 2003 – The Edina Senior Center, 5280 Grandview Square, will host a
nine-ball pool tournament Tuesday, April 15. The tournament, which is open to anyone who wants
to play, will begin at 1 p.m. Entry fee is $1. Prizes will be awarded.
With 1,500 members and a variety of activities, the Edina Senior Center offers something for everyone
55 and older. Among the recreational activities offered by the Senior Center are cards, creative writing,
exercise, defensive driving, line dancing and whittling. Health-related programs include blood pressure
checks, hearing tests, podiatrist appointments, vaccination clinics and health seminars. For more
