Edina Art Center announces Media Graphic Art
Academy openings
Edina, Minn., Jan. 28, 2003 – The Edina Art Center has openings in its Media Graphic Art Academy
for children in second through fourth grades. Classes will meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The eight-week winter session begins Feb. 11. There are four opening in the class. The deadline for
those interested in applying is Feb. 7.
Media Graphic Art classes teach beginning graphic art skills using KidPix and Adobe PhotoShop
software programs. Students will create a variety of finished artistic images using the power of
computer desktop tools.
Tuition for the Media Graphic Art Academy I section is $63 for members; $70 for non-members.
Students will also be charged a $20 supply fee.
New students interested in acceptance are required to fill out an Academy application and successfully
complete an interview. Not all students who apply will be accepted. Applications are available at the
Edina Art Center.
