Great Duck Chase registration under way
Edina, Minn., Aug. 29, 2003 – Registration for the Great Duck Chase 5K race and 1.5-
mile Fun Run is under way.
The event will be held Sunday, Sept. 28 at Centennial Lakes Park in Edina. Entry
fees until the day of the race are $15 for the 5K race and $5 for the 1.5-mile Fun
Run, plus a $1 online processing fee. 5K participants may participate in the Fun Run
at no additional cost. The day of the race, in-person registration is $20 for the 5K and
$8 for the Fun Run. All participants will receive a free Great Duck Chase T-shirt and
complimentary snacks and beverages after the event.
The 5K run will start at 10 a.m. and be completely within the confines of the park on
pavement. It is a flat, two-loop run. The 1.5-mile Fun Run will start at 10:45 a.m. and
is one loop of the 5K race.
