EDINA HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
OCTOBER 19, 1987
Answering rollcall were Commissioners Kelly, 'Turner and Courtney.
MINUTES of the HRA Meeting of October 5, 1987 were approved as submitted
by motion of Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Kelly.
Ayes: Kelly, Turner, Courtney
Motion carried.
BID AWARDED FOR PAVING AREA NORTH OF PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE AND PARKING RAMP.
Manager Rosland presented tabluation of bids for Paving Area North of Public
Works Garage and Parking Ramp showing Northwest Asphalt at $6,525.00, Lund
Asphalt at $6,915.00 and Bury and Carlson at $7,920.00. Motion of Commissioner
Kelly was seconded by Commissioner Turner for award of bid to recommended low
bidder, Northwest Asphalt, at $6,525.00.
Ayes: Kelly, Turner, Courtney
Motion carried.
_BID REJECTED FOR EDINBOROUGH CONDOMINIUMS PHASE III LANDSCAPE ACCESSORIES.
Manager Rosland advised that the architect's estimate for the bid package for
Edinborough Condominiums Phase III Landscape Accessories was $12,800.00. The
low bid received was $23,380.00. Staff believes that the HRA can purchase
landscape accessories (e.g. trash containers, benches, etc.) more economically
by contracting directly with a supplier and therefore, bid rejection is
recommended. Motion of Commissioner Turner was seconded by Commissioner Kelly
for rejection of bids for Edinborough Condominiums Phase III Landscape Accessories.

Motion carried.
There being no further business on the HRA Agenda the meeting was ad'ou ed by
motion of Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commis oner Kelly. Motion ca Tied.
